Becoming a Manager: How to be Successful in your New Role
This interactive workshop is designed to help newly established managers gain vital skills, tools, and awareness to effectively succeed as a first time manager in the workplace. Through a combination of online pre-courses and our live coaching workshops, new managers will learn:
- Essential new managerial skills
- How to avoid common managerial mistakes
- How to develop an effective coaching plan
- When to use counseling vs. coaching
- The benefits of developing direct reports
The program consists of 3 prerequisite online courses delivered in 45 minutes or less, and a 90 minute on-line interactive group coaching workshop facilitated with executive coach Dawn Kohler. At the end of the program, each manager will have a systemized method to objectively develop each direct report, hold an effective coaching session, and learn essential new managerial skills.
